Perfect complement to 2Do for my iPhone and iPad. In fact, I may have missed it being available earlier, I was wishing for a desktop version. Thanks!

Ive used other to-do managers and this one is the best. I also have it on my iPad and iPhone and the three devices sync beautifully. It can be used simply or with more complex systems such as "Getting Things Done." Heartily recommended.
I like this To Do app the best - you can make your own folders, colours. It syncs perfectly across Mac, iPhone, iPad, working with your calendar. Simply the best.
Works so well on all Mac products! Very hady on the go with iPhone! Just wish there was an auto sync you could schedule...
a french version can be good. 2do should have all features trought all devices and the same display . Some features, like add pictures, are not in all version of devices. Should have a calendar where we can see the tasks in a calendar view. Overall, its a best app for me…all projects and task are easy to be completed !
The title pretty much sums up my view. The app works well functionally, but it has a completely different interface to that of the iOS apps that I love. I would prefer the same interface across all apps.
Crashes and fails to sync more often then it is worth. Deleted a previous version from Mac because of this, reinstalled version 1.0.5 to try, no better. Deleted again not to be tried again.
Work well, beautiful and very very handy! i recommend it to everyone looking for the best 2do app possible!
Perfect! This is by far the best task management software Ive ever used… no matter what your system (GTD, etc…). Syncs seamlessly between iPhone and MacBook Air. Also keeps native apps (Reminder, iCloud) up-to-date.
I have spent approx 30 emails and forum posts pursuing fixes over the last year. the product is buggy plain and simple and still hasnt been fixed. i can not in good conscience recommend it. it is pretty and powerful and would outperform THINGS if it worked. it doesnt work. searching doesnt find things. has been extensively tested and they admit the issue and have no solution. its just been far too long! someone needs to buy this company and fix the software. it could be 5 stars. note: many people in forums complained about this, but the forums no longer exist. help via email to support is not bad for most issues, takes a couple days for a response.
I started with 2Do on the iPhone. I have progressed to desk top version. I love this app. I find more and better ways to use it every couple of months. Its very intuitive and flexible
The app is simple and easy to use. UI is very nice. It has all the functionalities I need, and they work great. I use this on a daily basis and am very happy with it. The price tag is a bit hefty, but in the long run I don’t regret purchasing this. I’m a grad student with a lot of things going on at the same time and this has significantly helped me in my work and studies. I particularly like the ability to create nested lists. And, of course, notifications. Very nicely done.
I love 2Do’s flexibility, and it is great to have a Mac version of the app.
In the past two weeks 2Do wiped out entire lists twice. Since automatic backups can only be set up q24h minimum, you can never fully restore your lists if you are a heavy user. When you try to restore from backup and then sync for the first time the server throws some error and syncs a lot of empty list that you then have to manually delete. Going back to OmniFocus.
I tried the iOS version just updated (build 3) and WOW! Just what I was looking for. I bought the Mac Version ($50) and do I feel like I have wasted my money. Omnifocus for Mac is much better however at the time Omnifocus didn’t have an iPad version… and now they do. Rethinking if I should stay with 2Do - Yes the Mac version is that bad. Wish there was an update coming for MAC that would help stick with it. If you are going to use iOS mainly you should be good… but the MacApp is not worth the money - sigh.
Acted glitchy at first, but now seems to sync nicely with ios devices, without losing data.
I’ve returned to using this app after abandoning it a couple of years ago when iCal integration could no longer be used. I couldn’t be more pleased with the curent version. I especially like the quick entry feature.
I live and breathe for a good Task Manager and this tool is awesome. I can check my iPad, iPhone, and IOS and all are nicely synched up. Love all the filters and flexibility that this app offers. Well done!
I had been going back and forth between Omnifocus and Things for the best of the past 3 years, and I have to say I believe I have finally found the right balance of simplicity and power with 2Do. It can be used in a very basic and simple way like Things, has a great UI, but also offers more advanced options if you are a bit on the Power User side. The support for iPhone, iPad and Mac, the flawless iCloud syncing, the integration with Apple reminders app and the overall experience have made it the solution of choice for me. Kudos to the developers !
Updated Review - Version 2 is nothing short of amazing. The search for the best ToDo app is now over. 2do has made my life much easier! I have been using 2do for over a year now and really find it is an excellent app and I’ve used it on iphone, desktop, and iPad. I’ve tried a number of competitors, but found 2do to be the most flexible and reliable app. The ability to sync to dos with Reminders via Icloud is a real plus (and dropbox sync also avaialble). It would be nice to have a “notes” function integrated into the app (since some items that I want to remember are not necessarily “to dos”). But really, it is a well thought out and easy to use app, that has worked flawlessly in my experience. I noticed some negative reviews on the app store, but I’ve never experienced the issues they are talking about (search works perfectly and is fast) and I’ve never had issues with data loss in syncing (on the contrary, it works perfectly). Excellent app, what more can I say?
