The best To-Do I’ve found
UPDATE: I continue to love this app as the (near) ultimate to-do/task program for both Mac and iOS devices. However, that “near” is severly detrimental to me and has caused me to no longer use 2Do. That’s the lack of Exchange support. Without it, over two-thirds of my daily tasks (office) cannot be created and tracked through 2Do. I have had to turn to alternate solutions (GoodTask, Reminders or OmniFocus), which all have their shortcomings in comparison to 2Do…but can interact with Exchange. This stinks! Please support Exchange in a future update, 2Do!!!
I echo the same sentiments as sdcga161’s review. This is about as close to perfect as I can find in a task list application, both for the Mac as well as my iOS devices. As stated, Clear tries to be too simple that it suffers value; OmniFocus tries to be too complex that it suffers efficiency. And of course, NO ONE wants to use Apple’s solution, Reminders! I’ve tried those plus Things, Hit List, Task Coach, Wunderlist, ToDo, even Outlook & Google Calendar. None come close to the balance of ease with customization that 2Do has. Plus the sync feature with your smart devices is fast, stable, and accurate.
My only gripe is the alarm notifications…much too simple. The notifications need at least a Snooze/Completed option, but better yet, a multiple snooze option (e.g. - 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, etc.).
But the value of the XOS/iOS integration, the customization of lists, the various options of tags, alarms, attachments & macro actions, all make this the most robust solution you can find today for Mac and/or iOS users. Keep up the great development work, Guided Ways!
