Best, best, best to-do app.. and it it is still the best :… and still a 5 star app
July 2016 Updated Review: The app keeps going stronger by the day. Its been 3 to 4 years since I switched to 2Do and have never looked back. Excellent App and excellent developer.
Updated Review: There are so many apps in the iOS world that keep pestering you for writing reviews. But somehow 2Do is the app where I always want to write a review. I am always nervous that they will go out of business and pull out the app. Here is my unsolicited advice to the 2Do team. If possible, charge an yearly fee. I will pay it willingly. In fact I will be ecstatic to pay you every year for helping me keep my life organized. You are the best !!!
Updated Review: Continue to love this app. Been using it consistently every single day for the last couple of years and it continues to amaze me how reliable, efficient and easy to use is this app. And it has so many features though never ever do those features get in the way. I would pay them again to make sure they continue to thrive and innovate. Awesome job guys !!!!
I have toyed with several to do apps over the years. I had installed 2Do like 2 to 3 years back on my iPhone and for some reason did not like it at all. Even felt robbed of the dollars that I had to pay for the app. Then I started using iProcrastinate and loved it. Wrote a glowing review for it. In the meantime I am was getting good at using the to-do app. Half of the challenge with usefulness of the app is the individual has to use it consistently. At first certain things are not so great but then you start liking them and make it part of your daily to-do workflow. And that was the journey I was on with iProcrastinate. But then I started noticing the issues with sync. Also some of the usability items on the desktop version of the app were not intutive. And to top that every task had to have a due date.
So, i started shopping for a better app and read a review on one of the blogs about 2Do. The blogger mentioned (similar to my experience) that the app was not that great 2-3 yrs back but it is now an awesome app. I was like, what the heck. I have a iPhone app already. Let me try the desktop version. Downloaded the trial, then purchased it in 10 days and have been using it for over 2 months and I LOVE IT…. If you want a simple app, this is not for you. But I believe everyone transcends from the phase of simplicity to make the app work for you. And this is what 2Do does. I have been using it religiously. I do not use a lot of features but the ones I use, I love them.
And the sync is flawless. You can clearly see that the app is being built by team which is committed and in this for the long run. Not a hack put together. Keep it up.
