This One is The One
Like many peoples’ reviews on this app, I have gone through quite a few “to do” programs, but can confidently say 2Do is going to be my go-to “to do list” for a while.
I used Clear for a while, as I am a HUGE fan of clean UI’s. However that one was quick to fail me when it came to creating projects and detailed tasks. It was just too simple and lacked depth that I needed.
As a college student who works two jobs, manages off-campus living expenses/cleaning/groceries (that dish-filled sink though), and is very involved in a church’s college student ministry, I need a program that can juggle all these balls, all the while keeping track of different tid-bits like “things I want to buy someday" (emphasis on someday) and the everyday “random to-do’s”.
ToDoist was the second program I used for a while, particularly for its cloud function. However that too eventually came to fail me with it’s lack of depth in fully customizing each task. Tasks were simply due dates. The organization of tasks was lacking heavily. Also it was as subscription that you had to re-pay every year.
And now that I think of it, lack of organization is the biggest thing 2Do has over any other program I’ve used.
There are different “bins” to put projects, tasks, and checklists in. Some “bins” are crazy, like stuff for church which can come out of nowhere, while other bins are consistant and scheduled like “school”.
I wanted to write this review after at least 3 months of using this app. Strongly recommend getting the iPhone app too, as the sync is amazing and very convenient. Thanks 2Do for making life a bit more organized with so many things going on.
